ENGINEERING SYSTEMS IN HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Abstract

The paper aims the modern industry facilities including those in the hotels have a complex array of very sophisticated engineering systems ranging from complex property building, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant to the state-of-the-art sensors and detectors. Any hospitality facility also has boilers, dieselsgenerating units, transformers, air-conditioning and refrigeration units, sophisticated kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, fire safety equipment to name a few. It may be a large extent, an integrated form of many engineering systems employed for different kind of essential and support services. The success of even those departments seemingly remotely connected with engineering facilities such as food and beverages, front office, housekeeping, etc and also depends upon the performance of requirement.
