Abstract

Particulate segregation is one of the major issues in casting of particulate metal matrix composite. In a recently invented method, uniform distribution of particulate was made possible. The uniformity has been attributed to frequent change in the orientation of the mold rotation axis. In the present study the uniform dispersion of particulate as a result of the variation in the axis orientation has been simulated using FLUENT6.2.16.
